Sophie Clarke, MD

Sophie Clarke, MD, is President of Carelon Advocacy, the member engagement division of Carelon that connects individuals with the physical, behavioral, social, and pharmacy care they need to improve whole health. Under Sophie’s leadership, Carelon Advocacy delivers personalized and integrated solutions that address disease management, maternity, transitions of care, and care management.

Sophie has more than 10 years of healthcare experience, including leadership roles with Elevance Health, Inc. and McKinsey and Company. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
